"daily girl" a new painting series on eBay
hey y'all! ya know that painting i posted the video about yesterday? well......she's all finished and up on eBay! yee haww! :D i'm so excited about this new series and i can't wait to get back into the studio today and start another girl! its gotten me all excited about painting faces again....a GOOD thing, right?
so, you can find her up on eBay right now, so cruise on over. her auction ends on saturday 1/14/12 so you'll have to act fast.

i also have some of my abstract paintings up there too. they've been here with me keeping me company in my studio and now i feel ready to let them go to their new homes and spread some joy+beauty around.

New online painting workshop
hey y'all! one of the BIG things i was eluding to in yesterday's post was my brand new online class called "Driven To Abstraction". so many of us struggle along in search of our unique creative voice and have no idea how to go about discovering it. well, my journey into the world of abstract painting has taught me SO much about my style+creative voice and i realized that i should share this with y'all! that's how this course came into being. there's so much more to it so just click on over the class page (where you can also sign up) to get all the details. through this sunday, january 15th, i'm having an early sign up special. the regular price of this workshop will be $95, but if you sign up by sunday, you'll only pay $80.

This is an ALL LEVEL course, so even if you've never painted before you can totally jump right in!
This is a 4 week class, with an additional 2 weeks for catch up and/or review.
In this process-focused style of working, you will experience a release of control through the use of distracting exercises which will allow you to tap into your creative flow and begin to discover your own unique creative voice. By the end of this workshop, you will have a painting that is uniquely YOU!
In this eCourse, I will take you through the different processes I go through as I build an abstract painting. You will get to follow along as I create a painting from start to finish and along the journey, I'll share with you various techniques I use during the creation process.
There will be several pre-recorded HD quality instructional videos posted each of the first four weeks to guide you on your painting journey. I will also be holding live weekly chats (which are totally optional to join) where you can connect with me and other students in the course to support and learn from each other. Along with the videos, there will be bits of inspiration i've found for you to explore each week to encourage you as you progress through the course. This is what happens...
When you get sick for a couple of months and don't use your studio....it becomes a "catch all"! Lol! As you can see from the before/after pics, I have managed to clean up a bit in there so I can actually work now that I'm feeling better. Ramping up for some BIG stuff!! More details really soon!!!
