New online class registration open - "Divine Romance" + free webinar event

Hey y'all! gosh, things have been busy 'round here. Registration is finally open for my new online class. Its called "Divine Romance - strengthening your connection to God through creativity" and begins on May 17th. This is a five week class that is designed to inspire you and show you how you can enter into God's presence through the process of creating. Creativity is not reserved for only "artists"....we are ALL creative because we were made in the image of the Master Creator. Come ready to playfully experiment and raise our creative voices to God in praise!

Price for the class is $85, but if you register before 5/11/2011, then you get it for $80. Also, space is limited and registration ends on May 16th, the day before the class begins. Not sure when I'll be able to offer this again...might be fall since I have my kiddo home with me all summer. For all the details, please click the graphic below.

Also, I'll be broadcasting live from my studio next week on Tuesday, May 10th @ 10:00 AM Pacific Time for about an hour. If you've ever wondered about my creative process, here's your chance to get a peek into it. This is also give y'all a chance to preview the online live webcast format I will be using as part of my new online class.

You have to register for this free event because space is limited. I announced the webcast late yesterday on Facebook and its already over 50% full, so act fast so you don't miss out!

sneak peek of what i'm workin' on

i know i've been pretty quiet for the past week or so, but i have a really good reason.....i'm spending every minute i can working on a new class. yep, a brand spankin' new class. :) last week was spent trying to finish up filming and this week i'm busy editing the many hours of video footage i shot. boy are my eyes tired! lol!

at this point, looks like there will be eleven videos...where i share my entire process, starting from an existing drawing on an abstract background, to the finishing touches. you get to see my whole creative process folks. the whole kit and kaboodle. :D

well, my eyes are starting to get blurry so that's my cue to head to bed. i've spent a huge chunk of time on this box the past couple of days trying to get this baby ready for prime time and haven't been posting regularly, so i thought i'd give ya a quick peek at why. ;) :D

if you want more info on the upcoming self paced downloadable video workshop or the workshop dvd, you can cruise on over to my e-classes page (where you can also find DVD versions of previously offered e-classes). good night y'all and God bless!!! xoxoxo

Painting workshops now on DVD

hey y'all! i know i haven't posted for like over a month now....i was sick so much this past winter that it caused there to be too much to catch up on around here. then of course i got so behind at school with the kiddos. there were many lessons that i wasn't able to do with them because we just ran out of time. we mainly just focused on drawing and clay for the last two months....both of which i think were their favorites. :) i did manage to get a few pics of some of the clay projects they did and hopefully will get them posted here soon. and now on to the original reason why i logged on here today....after many requests for me to put my previous online workshops on dvd for people who never had a chance to take the class when it was run live, i decided i needed to figure out a way to do it. so now, you have the opportunity to buy the entire set of videos from my online classes on a data dvd. they will come complete with a hard dvd case (like movies come in) with a professional full color cover (see front cover pics below) and data dvd with a full color label. See my e-classes page for all the details and to purchase one (or both).

portrait class starts monday!!!

i've been busy trying to get things ready for another session of my "all about faces" mixed media portrait class that starts this monday. aiden's pretty sick right now, poor guy, so it's been a bit slow going....just trying to do what i can while making sure he's resting and stays as comfortable as possible.

i'll be sending out invites tomorrow evening some time to the private class blog, so you still have a chance to sign up before the class begins. everything is available for you on the first day of class, so you can go at your own pace. below is a slide show of some of my past students work.

this is the last time i plan to offer this class, so if you've been waiting to sign up this is your last chance to take this class.
