lost in digiworld...

since my last post, i've become quite obsessed with drawing these darling girls! i've done six of them and i'm working another one today (a pregnant mom that would be perfect for baby shower invites!}. thank y'all SO much for your encouragement in my last post! i WILL be turning these new drawings into digital stamps {digi stamps} that can be used the same way you would use a rubber stamp, except you print it out instead of stamping the image with ink. :D

oh yeah,

and the card i made with the girl from my last post? it was a hit with aiden's teacher! yea! :!

sooooooooooo,

be on the lookout here for news on my new digi shop to be opening soon so you can buy some of these darling girls for yourself and make your own cards {and other such paper crafts}!

in the meantime....

i'll leave y'all with peeks of some of the girls...

some finished,

some still in progress.

my son is home sick from school today, so studio time was a no go. i found myself with alot of pent up creative energy, so I had to find an outlet. that's how these sweet little girls came about. :)

i've been meaning to get back to my digi stamp idea, but too many other things kept coming up. then today i had to find a way to satisfy my creative urge while staying in the same room with the kiddo to make sure he stayed still and resting (something very difficult for him, even when he's sick he won't stay still for long).

after a little facebook drive by on my phone from my spot next to him on the couch, i had my answer. :)

thankfully our scanner and printer are here in the same room, so i was able to scan and print out my drawing. then i grabbed some colored pencils, sat back down on the couch and went to work.

now to cut her out, grab some of my scrapbooking paper stash, and make a card for my son's teacher for teacher appreciation week. :D

i would LOVE to know what y'all think of this drawing! i'm thinking of going more this direction with my digi stamps and i could really use your input!

thanks bunches y'all!!! xoxo
